new look, blog banner and content

Thought I would give the blog a bit of a face lift. I like the new banne, i will be posting more art and painting here as well.  Since all blog posts are more interesting with a photo, here are a few shots from around the studio.

scrap space re-do!

After looking at my scrap space, and looking at other scrapper's rooms, I got the bug to re arrange.  I mentioned before that I already have the paint...Also, it needs a really good clean up.  So I have started that today.  It's turning into a much bigger job than I thought- I have a LOT of re-organizing to do. But that's ok, because I love organizing my room, almost as much as I love to create in there... almost!

My Scrap Space

Thought you may be interested in taking a look at the best room in the house (in my opinion anyway!)  My scrap space! I am so lucky to have a whole room dedicated to my hobby (read: obsession!)

I constantly change and re-organize but I find some days I enjoy puttering around and re-categorizing almost as much at the hobby itself! It takes time to figure out what works for me. 

Anyway, here is a peek at how it looks today.  I still want to paint the walls a nice robin's egg blue... I even bought the paint- I just cringe at the thought of taking everything down and apart to get it done!  Someday...

on top of the Ikea shelf, I framed a bunch of patterned paper that I love. I also have some layouts on display, some mini albums, and my ART letters.

Ah.... my room.... makes me feel good just looking at it!
