So. I have been thinking about getting a tattoo for a very long time now- over 15 years. I even went twice but chickened out both times, mostly because I was not sure about what to get. I really want to make sure that if I am putting something on my body that will be there FOREVER, then it should mean something to me. When I had my kids, there was a definite change in who I am: they made me understand true, unconditional, pure love. I knew that my tattoo, whenever I decided to get it, would have something to do with Ryan & Jordan- the most important things that have ever happened to me. So then I had to decide: what do I get to symbolize my kids? Should I use the flower of their month of birth? Their zodiac sign? But those just didn't feel"right". Then I stumbled on a photo on Kal's blog, showing her tattoo on her wrist, with the most amazing font. I love it!! The font is Ministry Script and it is just what I was looking for.

I am thinking this is what mine will look like...
My kids' initials with their date of birth. I will be inside my right arm, and I am just working on how big and the exact placement. I have been drawing on my arm today trying to see where I like it best.
I am so excited, and ready to get inked! This one feels right.
